If you catch either in the other direction it is a short walk to the supermarket. The beach is a five-minute walk away (yes, you must walk on the road to get there, but drivers are generally courteous and aware, if a little speedy at times) the Big B Supermarket is a 20-min walk away along a residential street there is a bus stop just outside the apartments and both the big blue government-run buses and the ZR vans (white mini-vans) will take you to Bridgetown for $1.25.
I would highly recommend this accommodation to those who needn't be right on the beach, but who would still like to be close to all necessary conveniences. I recently stayed at Adulo Apartments for five weeks.
